Policies

Shipping

All orders are shipped out as soon as possible.  This will allow you to enjoy your Reliable product.  There are some times during the year that our products may take longer to ship.  We try to have a variety of items in stock.  If they are not in stock you should allow 5-7 weeks for shipment.  There are times it will be longer in the spring and summer season.  If you order over the internet we will e-mail you with an order confirmation and an expected ship date.

Delivery

Whenever possible, all items will be shipped via Fed-Ex Ground.  Faster Service, Fed-Ex 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air are also available at the expense of the customer placing the order.  Multiple items or oversize items such as tipi poles may require common carrier shipment.  Shipping charges for these larger shipments can be quoted when the order is placed.  Shipping and Handling is calculated by weight and the dimentions of the item.

Warranty

If you are not satisfied with any stock item purchased from us return it to us within 15 days.  It has to be in unused condition for a full refund of your purchase price.  Shipping and Handling will not be refunded.  Custom orders will be refunded at Reliable Tent and Awning’s discretion, dependent on degree of customization.  Please provide dated proof of purchase.  Reliable Tent and Awning Co warrants to the original purchaser, its products to be free of defects in material and workmanship.  We will repair or replace the product at our discretion when returned to us, freight prepaid.  Any returns for repair or replacement will require prior authorization and must be accompanied by a dated proof of purchase.  Reliable Tent and Awning Co makes no other warranty whether expressed or implied and shall not be liable for damages resulting from use or other outside forces beyond our control.  Reliable Tent and Awning Co will not be responsible for mildew or mold. Refer to Tent Care for care and protection.

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site.  We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you.  We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.  Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email or mail in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.  You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address or phone number given on our website.

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.  Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the Web page.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
